Head-to-head
Crystal Palace can do the league double over West Ham for the first time in the top flight, having won 1-0 at home last December.
West Ham are unbeaten in their last four home league matches against Palace, winning three and drawing one.
West Ham
Sam Allardyce’s side have lost five of their last seven league matches.
They have lost from a winning position six times this season – including their previous match against Arsenal. The record number of defeats from winning positions for a club in a Premier League season is seven.
The Hammers have only drawn one match since the turn of the year, with seven wins and 10 defeats in their 18 matches in all competitions.
They have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last eight league matches, despite keeping 13 in total this season – only Chelsea (16) have kept more.
Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace have won their last four Premier League games. If they beat West Ham they will equal their top-flight record of five league wins in a row, set in December 1992.
Victory on Saturday would also establish a new club record of three away wins in a row in the top flight.
If the season had started when Tony Pulis took charge of Palace, the Eagles would be in eighth place.
Only Chelsea (14) have conceded fewer goals than Palace (20) in the period Pulis has been in charge.
Jason Puncheon has scored four goals in the last three league games.
