They have only won 15 of their last 57 league matches at Villa Park, although they did earn a comparatively healthy 10 points from their final six home fixtures of the 2013-14 campaign (W3, D1, L2).

They have now lost eight of their last nine Premier League games dating back to March, and have failed to score in six of those matches.
Alan Pardew’s side have suffered five successive away defeats. They have not lost six in a row since December 2007 to March 2008.
