Head-to-head

Crystal Palace have only taken two points from the eight previous Premier League meetings and they are winless in 11 attempts in the league since a 2-1 home victory in August 1990.

Chelsea are unbeaten in their last 11 league and cup games against Palace at Stamford Bridge.

Their only league win at Chelsea in 16 attempts came in March 1982 in the old Second Division.

Chelsea

Thirty points from 15 games represents Jose Mourinho’s worst return at a leading European club. He last fared worse in 2001-02 with Uniao de Leiria (24 points from 15 games).

Chelsea have won 11 points from losing positions this season, four more than any other side.

They have trailed in five of their last six league games, and three of the last four at home.

The Blues have gone 16 Premier League games without defeat at Stamford Bridge, where they remain unbeaten in all 67 league matches under Mourinho (W52, D15).

Chelsea have only kept one clean sheet in their last 10 league games and have conceded three goals in consecutive league fixtures for the first time since October 1999.

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace have earned nine points from the last 12 available in the Premier League (W3 L1), seven more than reigning champions Manchester United.

The Eagles have conceded only one goal in their last five league games.

However, they have the division’s worst goalscoring record, with 10 goals in 15 matches.

Marouane Chamakh has scored in successive Premier League appearances for the first time since November 2010. He has never scored in three consecutive league appearances in his career.

Palace have lost all 10 matches in which they trailed this season.
