Highlights

Head-to-head

This is the third meeting between the sides this season and it is one win apiece so far. West Brom won 2-0 in November’s reverse Premier League fixture but Palace were victorious by the same scoreline at The Hawthorns in the FA Cup third round last month.

West Brom’s win earlier this campaign ended a seven-match winless run for the home side in this fixture.

The Eagles were 3-0 winners in the only previous Premier League contest between the clubs at Selhurst Park, in 2004-05. That victory is Palace’s only win in their last 10 home games against the Baggies (D6, L3).

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace have taken 13 points from a possible 18 under Tony Pulis at Selhurst Park (W4, D1, L1) and have kept four clean sheets during this period.

Palace have scored just three goals in their last six Premier League games, all by Jason Puncheon.

The Eagles are the lowest scorers the Premier League with 15 goals. They have failed to score in half of their 24 games, the joint-most along with Cardiff.

Palace have conceded more goals (10) in the 15 minutes after half-time than any other Premier League team this season.

Tony Pulis has recorded five Premier League victories against West Brom as manager. The only side he has beaten more in the top flight is Blackburn (six).

West Brom

West Brom remain winless in three matches under new manager Pepe Mel (D2, L1) and have won only once in their last 14 league games (D7, L6).

The longest a newly-appointed Albion manager has gone without a win in the Premier League is Bryan Robson’s 11 games (D4, L7) in 2004-05. The Baggies eventually stayed up that season at Crystal Palace’s expense.

Albion have had a league-high 15 different goalscorers this season (16 including own goals).

West Brom’s sole away victory so far came at Manchester United at the end of September.

The Baggies have won fewer games (4) than any other Premier League club this season (17% win rate) and have drawn a league-high 11 matches (46%).
