Bryan Oviedo struck a late winner for Everton at Manchester United to condemn David Moyes to defeat in his first game against his former side.

United boss Moyes, who left Everton to replace Sir Alex Ferguson in the summer, had never won at Old Trafford in over a decade at the Toffees.

The hosts had chances to win with Nemanja Vidic’s header saved, before Danny Welbeck hit the bar.

But Oviedo snatched victory for the visitors with a low finish late on.

The result ended United’s seven-match unbeaten run in the Premier League.
