Head-to-head

Wigan’s biggest loss at The Hawthorns came in April 1993, a 5-1 second-tier league defeat.
Overall, the clubs have met 18 times across all competitions: each has won on seven occasions.
West Brom
The Baggies have set a new points record for the club in a Premier League season (they have amassed 48 so far).
At Southampton last weekend, Marc-Antoine Fortune was the first player since Bobby Zamora in January 2007 to score, assist & be sent off in the same Premier League game.
Romelu Lukaku is one of only three players to score three or more Premier League goals with left foot, right foot and head this season (the others are Michu and Luis Suarez).
Eight of West Brom’s 10 shots against Southampton were on target.
Wigan
The Latics have taken just two points from their last four league games.
Against Tottenham, Wigan managed to avoid defeat at home against a team in the top five for the first time this season. They also scored their first goals in one of these matches, after having scored none and conceded nine in the four matches previous.
Callum McManaman scored his fourth goal in his last 10 appearances (all competitions) in that match. It was his first Premier League goal.
At this stage last season, Wigan had two more Premier League points (34) than they have at present (32).
