Manchester City 1-2 Wigan Highlights

FA Cup holders Wigan Athletic shocked Manchester City in the competition for the second time in consecutive seasons to set up a semi-final with Arsenal.

Wigan beat City in last year’s Wembley final and edged a pulsating tie at the Etihad after some heroic defending.

Jordi Gomez put the Latics ahead from the penalty spot in the first half, and James Perch added a second after half-time with a finish at the back post.

City pulled one back through Samir Nasri but could not find an equaliser.
