Great result for Ireland. I was at the game in Bari Ireland should have won the game but even with ten men Italy there defense was so strong, Canavaro was very good as you would expect they shut up shop, second half Ireland really took it to them and there was no weakness except maybe for McShane , Hunt played out of his skin and Folan also disrupted the Italian defense when he came on. I liked the way Trapattoni dropped Keane back playing behind Doyle and Folan it seems to be a position he is comfortable playing he can create alot from there. all in all was very happy with the team 🙂
