Manchester United booked their place in the Carling Cup final despite being given a late scare by Derby County.
The Rams led 1-0 from the first leg but a fierce Nani strike levelled the tie and defensive errors let John O’Shea and Carlos Tevez put United in charge.

UTD very much deserve a place in the final. We beat Derby with a whole squad of young players who we wanted to gain some experience. If we really wanted to beat them good… we could have easily done it by playing our top players. But that just goes to show , we can still win championships with our younger squad.
