Riyad Mahrez Named PFA Player of the Year
Riyad Mahrez has won the Professional Footballers’ Association Player of the Year award in recognition of his remarkable season with the Premier League leaders, Leicester City.
Mehrez has made 34 league games for Leicester this season and scored 17 goals and made 11 assists.
The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli, 20, a highly impressive performer in his first top-flight season, took the Young Player of the Year award, while Manchester City forward Izzy Christiansen won the Women’s Player of the Year award.
